Arriving at and leaving the field.
Please respect other field users and enter/leave the field safely, always locking the gate behind you.
Please arrive at your allotted time. If there are cars outside the field when you arrive, please find somewhere safe to pull in and wait until they have left before removing your dog from the car ( There are pull in spaces futher along Hogsty Lane ).
Ensure the gate is closed securely while you are using the field.
Make sure that the gate is securely locked when you leave the field - even if someone else has arrived for their walk.
Do not let your dog out of your car until others have left the field and are sercurely in their own cars.
Cleaning up.
We do our best to keep the field clean and pleasant to use for all by checking it daily, but we really appreciate your help.
Always pick up your dogs poo. Please bring your own poo bags or use the shovel to move poo deep into the hedges if you have forgotten your bags.
Always use the poo bin provided for bagged poo.
Sometimes it is hard to see where your dog has pooped. If you come across a poo that someone else has missed, please pick it up if you can - maybe they will have done the same for you and together we can help keep the field clean and pleasant to use.
Please take all litter home with you or place it in the bin provided. If you come across litter in the field please pick it up and bin it.
Parking.
Parking at the field is at your own risk, we are not responsible for any damage to the vehicle or contents.
Please use the two car parking spaces outside the field gate. Parking at a perpendicular angle to the gate allows for other cars to fit in and helps change overs move smoothly.
Please drive carefully on the country lanes around the field - be respectful of other cars, pedestrians, horses and cyclists.
Ethics.
Respect for other field users and dogs is paramount when using our field.
Make sure your dogs are up to date on their vacinations and wormers to prevent the spread of illness to other dogs. Please note that we cannot gaurantee that all dogs visiting the field will be vacinated.
Please reschedule your visit if your dog is unwell.
You are responsible for your dog/children/vehicles while using the field please supervise accordingly.
We will not tollerate harsh handling of dogs, electric or prong collars or excessive verbal abuse towards dogs or other humans.
The gate code is not to be given to anyone other than the person hiring the field. It is changed regularly and users will be updated through the Facebook page.
Do not allow your dog to dig anywhere in the field, including the fence line. If your dog does please try to fill the hole in yourself or alert us either through the Facebook page or our Contact form.
Please be aware that there may be uneven surfaces and holes caused by rabbits or other dogs. We are not liable for any injuries sustained while using the field.
Cancellations and late arrivals.
We are proud to operate largely on honesty and ask that users respect this when booking or cancelling your visits.
If you arrive late unfortunately there is no extension past the end of your booked session. This allows for the next users to attend their session on time
We reserve the right to close the field at any time. You will be notified if a closure affects your booking and if you have paid in advance a refund will be given.
Please try to give at least 24 hours notice of cancellations. If a user continusouly fails to show up without cancellation in a reasonable time, or payment for previous sessions we reserve the right to refuse that customer futher sessions in the future.
